Qld: Beattie pledges more for regions
Premier PETER BEATTIE has promised more incentives to attract skilled interstate workers
to move to regional Queensland .. and six new centres of enterprise to attract new businesses.
Mr BEATTIE says he'll also provide a million dollars .. to help businesses in the regions
commercialise innovative new products.
He says many key industries .. like agriculture and mining .. are based in the regions
.. and they generate thousands of jobs and huge export revenues.
